Will I get any kind of degree once I complete the program?
Yes. Upon completion of the Digital Media Animation and Design (DMAD) program, students will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree from Northern Oklahoma College in Digital Media Animation and Design with a specialized focus on animation, modeling, texturing, motion graphics, or design.
Is student housing available?
There are several apartment complexes located throughout Tonkawa and Ponca City. If you prefer to live on campus, Northern Oklahoma College has dorms available for men and women.
How many students are admitted to the DMAD Program?
DMAD accepts 20 students per year. Students will take General Education classes along with the Digital Media classes. Students will start in the Fall, and if students stay on course, they will finish in two (2) years.

Is Financial Aid available?
Absolutely! 90% of the DMI students typically qualify for financial aid assistance. Financial Aid page will give you more information about this subject.
Will I be able to work while I attend the DMI Program?
Yes, it is possible if it’s a part-time job. There are several projects as well as daily homework assigned. The lab is open 24 hours a day and should give you ample time to get assignments done. It all comes down to time management. Financial Aid is available, and almost all students get some form of aid if they apply.

DMI accepts 20 students per semester.
How do I apply to the DMI?
Go to the Admissions section of the DMI website to download a copy of the DMI application. Print the application, fill it out completely, and mail it back to us along with official transcripts of any previous colleges you have attended. The DMI selection committee will review your application and contact you once final selections are made.
Can my General Education hours transfer from another college?
Sure. If you have questions about the transferable hours, bring your transcripts to the Registrars’ Office and they will be glad to help you. All hours can also be obtained here at Northern Oklahoma College, and general education hours from this applied science degree can transfer to other colleges as well.
